Site suggestions

Postby Northern_Union » Mon Apr 08, 2013 2:19 pm

There have been a number of requests made recently and all have merit. So i'm thinking that it will be easier to keep track of suggestions if they are all in one thread.
So far Quocken has requested that users names and displayed next to the latest post, i'm just waiting on clarification if he means in the new post bar at the top of the main forum body.
SJ would like a instant chat box at either the side or bottom of the page. Is this correct SJ?
Are there any that i have missed? If i have let me know and i'll include them.
If you have any suggestions you'd like to add this is the place to do it.

Yes - chat box probably is it. Something that you can just say hello.

It can also help with threads getting off topic.

Was thinking of moving Warriors game day LIVE DISCUSSIONS threads into a Warriors Forum sticky since it's bound to become a popular regular feature but....would it be better instead to have such that thread included in a LIVE DISCUSSIONS general thread or sub forum for all games on the general NRL index?

The reasoning is (1) there are plenty of League followers who support second and third favourite teams (I tune into League any chance I get. Am listening to MEL v WTG atm) and such a general level sub forum should drive up the number of posts and (2) during a Warriors home game, our site might attract traffic from the visiting teams supporters who belong to other forums.

Any thoughts?

Tigs have just had a try disallowed....but the Storm aren't in their usual state of control. Maybe Marshall thinks he's playing for his test spot.
Could be an upset on the cards....Blair on report.

I like the idea of a live discussions general thread.

Good. I can recall some people who posted the bulk of their comments on LIVE DISCUSSIONS. Could be a hit now we have footy four nights a week. Let's see if it catches on.

Of course it's only now that the game is over, I notice there's been a discussion there along. Doh!

I like this idea to H. Always had plenty of action going on in there. Would be great to see one here too.

Could be a good idea. I don't have a real second team - maybe Canberra - but I have teams I prefer to win in some games ... ;)

I must say I don't dislike the Warriors.

I think it could also be a good idea.
If the Warriors were playing either Manly,Storm or Roosters in the GF then I would barrack for the Warriors.
