What's the story with Mateo and I thought Locke was playing in this weekends warm up against the Gold Coast.

As you saw Feleti thankfully is fit.
He had a knee clean out in the off season which meant no return till that first game he played in Hamilton.

Quick Update:

Locke ( ACL minor tear return date unknown )

Thomas L ( Groin , Elliot hinted that he will be coming back in the next few rounds what ever that means ).

Ben Henry , still out from last years Injury ( Knee )

Sam Lousi ( Knee ) return date unknown Mt Wellington will have the inside word...he mentioned Sam was destroying people in training before he injured himself.

Johnson : unknown. Taken off as a precaution V Broncos ( watched the Hoffman tackle a few times ) Johnson is seen holding an Ice pack to a thigh on the bench...Hoffman did not hit his thigh...that must have happened earlier , Hoffman elbow / shouldered him in the chest.

Glen Fisiahi Limping , status unknown

Manu Vatuvei , Expected return V the Eels R 1 after niggle with his thigh.

Neilson ( Ankle ) return date unknown

Thanks.

Would love this to the break out year in Ben Henry's 1st grade career. He show huge promise captaining the NYC team.

:thumb: no worries.
Benry is a good player. Great attitude. Someone pointed out that the Warriors have a history of promoting their Junior captains to fg. Benry had a tough NRL intro having to play out of position , hopefully with all this depth we see him play his natural position and get used for cover only.
Perhaps Bhana down the track might find himself thrown a fg Life line.

Thomas Leuluai returned for us last week and made an immediate impact.

Jerome broke his Jaw and is out for six weeks minimum.

Big Sam Lousi is a few weeks away , will be running around in the NSW cup perhaps in four weeks.

No updates on Kevin Locke.

Feleti Mateo returns after one weeks break with knee trouble.

Leuluai recons he will need about four games to get back to full fitness , he said he was blowing hard in Wellington with the pace of the game.

Tommy has also said he wants to start in either the seven or Nine jumper.

Watching him go round at 13 last week just reinforces the utility value of Thomas.
